EGO – Trasporti Carbon Neutral

EGO is a system composed of a CO2 sensor, position sensors, telemetry mounted on board the vehicle and a cloud platform that collects miles of real data from the vehicles. AI algorithms suggest optimized routes and driving behaviors aimed at reducing the CO2 produced. EGO allows its complete compensation of the remaining CO2, purchasing carbon credits that will be used by Treebu for the planting of paulownia in the territories where the transport company operates. The compensation is certified by EGO to the transport company which can highlight it with its customers and effectively increase CSR.

If for some time, all over the world, they have been welcoming VR/AR technologies as an opportunity to involve different audiences in new ways and on new platforms, the horizon of the digital universe is much broader than the simple three-dimensional re-proposition of own collections or paths. The interaction with the sphere of social media - and therefore the complexity of the relationships between physical users - makes the metaverse a frontier to be explored in its impact with the real world: ArcheoVerso will analyze its relationships and declinations from the point of view of cultural institutions, evaluating economic sustainability and technological and digital extensions that make it possible to expand its offer and capacity to involve the public.
MusicHArt – L’esperienza nella musica visiva

The MusicHArt project was started in 2018 by the innovative start-up B.P.S. and its evolved version was launched in 2022 after years of experimentation. In the team Gianmarco Merlini represents the creator. It is inspired by research carried out in the field of synesthesia between music and color to allow artists and composers to transform their musical works into forms of abstract art through software that analyzes the melody and reproduces its relative abstract design. The result is a digital abstract canvas as well as the audio-video recording of the creation of the work.
E-Horizon Project

E-Horizon Project is a project that encourages young people to be creative and take control of their future. Starting from a "Crazy Idea", the project has created a community of young motor enthusiasts with a common dream: to become part of the world of world motorsports. Through the new technologies of industry 4.0, all high school students, willing to test themselves and learn, can express their creativity and their technical knowledge, creating models of racing cars in 1:10 scale through the use of CAD software, 3D printing, microcontroller programming. Eventually they can compete with other makers, competing with the cars they create.
The project includes different categories of cars to be built:
- MKRS: Formula 1-style cars, electrically powered, designed and driven by school kids
- Hypercar: project similar to MKRS but with cars with covered wheels
- Driverless: self-driving Hypercar-style cars.
At Maker Faire Rome we will bring the 2023 prototypes of the various projects plus other models we have previously made and we will hold small shows to show the capabilities of our cars and the potential of our project.
PARKINSON DETECTOR: intelligenza artificiale e medicina

Nowadays, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning are increasingly being used in medical diagnosis. Parkinson Detector is an Artificial Intelligence system capable of recognizing the typical motor impairments of Parkinson's disease. In particular, it identifies abnormalities in the oscillation of the upper limbs, such as symmetry and amplitude, which are currently of interest to clinicians as possible early indicators of the disease. The markerless system is non-invasive for the patient and easy to use, consisting of a PC, two cameras, and two specifically developed AI software.
MyzharBot v5 – A fully 3D printed intelligent ground robot

The Politecnico would like to present 10 teams that from 15 years make innovation participating to international competitions and events.

Once finished using the vehicle, it can be conveniently stored in the provided backpack or bag.

WoodyMaker produces objects that we have baptized original, special, beautiful "things" to give on different occasions, something that remains, can be worn or exhibited, capable of communicating data, messages and emotions.
The project is based on the creativity of a craftsman who works wood with new generation tools such as lasercut to produce "things" engraved with a "code" that communicates with a software platform created to give the customer the possibility to customize that "thing" and communicate something to third parties.
We went further… creating “things” that contain electronic boards and sensors able to communicate with the surrounding environment!
Our project aims to demonstrate how creativity and old crafts can merge with new technologies to create "things" that are pleasant to look at, made with natural materials, a new profession is born, the technological craftsman.
WoodyMaker aims to bring craftsmanship to the fore in a new form!
You will be able to see and touch surprising "things" at the fair that will be exhibited in preview, discover details and have all kinds of information, for the little ones we have created educational courses to learn the basic techniques for creating 2D/3D models.

Syntesi is an advanced summarization solution based on semantic understanding, designed specifically for the newspaper industry. This system not only recognizes and semanticizes the main concepts of an article, but goes further by identifying named entities, deciphering the emotions inherently expressed in the text (such as joy, anger, and admiration), categorizing the content according to specific domains (e.g., sports, politics, entertainment), and detecting the tone of the language (whether it is offensive, vulgar, etc.). In addition, the system generates a summary with the key content of the article. The end result is an incisive and multifaceted summary that captures the essence of the original article in its various facets.
At Maker Faire we will present an interactive demonstration of Syntesi in action on various newspaper articles. Our goal is to highlight how semantic analysis can serve as an important tool for the newspaper industry.

ACTA differs in inclusiveness: it abolishes the difference in size, and looks with care and attensions towards genres: genderfluid, manwear, womanwear. All garments are made to measure and in limited editions. CLO3D, Artificial Intelligence, 3D Printing take place in each phases of the creative process.
